Streaming and digital dates
When can you watch 2027 movies at home?
Theatrical openings and home-viewing dates are separate. These are the platform dates explicitly announced in the sources reviewed.
| Movie | Theaters | Streaming | Platform | Source |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew | February 12, 2027 | April 2, 2027 | Netflix | Official source |
| Charlie vs. the Chocolate Factory | November 5, 2027 | December 22, 2027 | Netflix | Official source |
Why are most 2027 movies missing from this table?
Studios commonly announce cinema plans before digital rental, purchase or subscription dates. We do not estimate a home release by adding a fixed number of days to the theatrical opening.
Is a Netflix date the same as a rental date?
No. A subscription launch describes availability through that service. Rental, purchase and physical-disc releases can have different dates and regional rights.
How should I check availability?
Follow the official source beside each entry, and confirm availability for your country. The dates above are future plans reviewed September 22, 2026.
