Marvel Movies in 2027: MCU & Spider-Verse Release Dates
The dated 2027 lineup tracked here includes Sony’s animated Miles Morales story and Marvel Studios’ next Avengers event. They belong to different film series, so an appearance in one does not establish a crossover with the other.
| Date | Movie / source | Distributor | Director | Cast |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Jun 18 | Sony Pictures | Bob Persichetti and Justin K. Thompson | Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Brian Tyree Henry | |
| Dec 17 | Walt Disney Studios | Anthony Russo and Joe Russo | Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Benedict Cumberbatch |
Which 2027 film belongs to the MCU?
Avengers: Secret Wars is the Marvel Studios / MCU release. Beyond the Spider-Verse is Sony Pictures Animation’s continuation of Miles Morales’s animated story. Use the individual guides for each film’s release source and current credits.
What about Avengers: Doomsday?
The current dated plan places Doomsday on December 18, 2026. It is the preceding Avengers film and is not counted in the 2027 list.
Why are there only two movies listed?
An unnamed studio slot is not a confirmed title. This guide adds another Marvel-based film only when a named project has a supported U.S. date. Streaming series, rumored sequels and releases outside 2027 are excluded from this theatrical comparison.
Schedule reviewed September 22, 2026. Future release plans can change.
